Or is it more because it feels threatened and feels that it has no other option? The latter would be much worse, because the one who feels cornered is more likely to reach for extreme means.
But this is also very significant in terms of the reaction of Western countries, including the Czech Republic. If it is the former, then shows of force and the supply of weapons can be useful. If the latter is the case, then the ‘language of force’ makes things dramatically worse.
