Climate alarmists are getting more and more aggressive and real environmentalists are sick of them – they have come up with the mantra that biodiversity doesn’t matter if our planetary climate is changing, or something like that. This is not just imbecility, it is a denial of the foundations on which ecological or conservationist thinking has grown. There is nothing more valuable on the planet than its natural and cultural heritage. Indeed, it is virtually certain that if life, intelligence and cultures existed on countless other planets, the nature and cultures there would be different from those on Earth. A so-called ecologist who wants to sacrifice the natural diversity of the climate is simply an anti-ecologist and an enemy.

Yet there are plenty of recipes for fixing the climate and natural heritage, or for making the planet healthier and more livable in the face of changing climatic conditions.
