The Michalak case has aroused enormous attention and emotions in the Czech public. The Norwegian child protection agency Bernevernet removed the children on the basis of allegations of sexual abuse. The investigation acquitted the family, but there was no return of the children. There were always some administrative delays until the authority decided that the children had become accustomed to the foster family and that it was in their best interests to stay there. They stole their children, quite normally!
The higher courts have resigned themselves to their role as guardians of justice and have gradually turned into an instrument of repression against members of the lower classes.
A few days ago, the European Court of Human Rights agreed with the Norwegian authorities. It was really just a symbolic satisfaction anyway. Even if a different verdict is handed down, it won’t fix the family and it won’t change the fact that Mrs Michalakova was not allowed to see her children for most of their childhood.
This is further proof that the higher courts have resigned themselves to their role as guardians of justice and have gradually turned into an instrument of repression against members of the lower classes. If those courts were abolished altogether, our rights would not suffer in any way, perhaps on the contrary.
Foreigners have quite normally bought Czech politicians and the Czech administration against the Czech people!
But one more thing. It was, in fact, a typical game where the stronger wins. If their state (i.e., the Czech Republic) had stood up for the Michalaks, it could have ended with “let them go, let it rest.” But the then Czech Minister of Social Affairs wanted money from the Norwegian funds. So it turned out that they just reluctantly completed the necessary formalities, and that was the end of their interest. Foreigners have quite normally bought Czech politicians and the Czech administration against the Czech people! They sent a cheque to the Ministry of Labour and that was that. Simply disgusting.
A warning to all other countries: Do not accept any foreign financial aid. It will be used against your citizens.
