Donald Trump is the favourite, even though he is far from winning, and we can speculate what this means for the local Czech branch of the new aristocracy, the oligarchic structure that won the Cold Civil War and is currently ruling the Czech Republic unchallenged. In fact, we could more accurately write that the local branch of Soros’ Open Society rules the Czech Republic. It is no coincidence that among the very first people to be received by the new Czech president was Alex Soros.
For when Czech prime minister Petr Fiala, Czech president Petr Pavel and others shouted that “we belong to the West”, they were not referring to the Western civilization, but to one particular section of the Western elites. And it is not winning at the moment.
The most interesting thing is that these people are incapable of the normal attitude of supporting one and showing cold polite disinterest towards the other. One I must love with unlimited passion and accept anything from, the other I must hate ferociously. Hence the completely unnecessary irrational insults to Donald Trump. This is typical mob behavior.
