It should not have escaped that the demonstrations in Georgia have been quietly ended and the President, who had previously betrayed her country, has left office. The colour revolution has been repelled.
I remind you that there have been more than ten attempted colour revolutions around the world since the 2014 Maidan in Kiev, and that ALL have been defeated. The most interesting thing is that they are trying the exact same script over and over again. With exactly the same result.
It actually works like everything else that happens in the West, from the Green Deal to stopping migration to war. People act on the feedback they get. If the Georgian defeat had been followed by a wave of layoffs, pay cuts, or exemplary punishments (how about a few public executions?) at Open Society headquarters and the US State Department, they might try it differently next time. But nothing happens, everyone keeps getting paid and everyone is happy. Now they’ll be lamenting the defeat of “democracy”, and of course they’ll be paid for that too.
And next time they’ll do just as badly in another country. Fortunately.
