If we want to understand the hysterical reaction to what has been going on between Russia, America and Ukraine in recent days, we need to go back to what went on before. Over the last few months, I have had many debates with ‘liberal democrats’ (neo-Marxists) on social media. These people were downright obsessed with the idea of installing missiles with nuclear warheads on the Russia-Ukraine border. To keep the Russians in check, to humiliate them, to exploit them, to let them starve, to rejoice in their suffering. They looked forward to the destruction of these subhumans with downright sadistic glee.
The Ukrainian junta, predictably, can only manage to steal from its own country…
And suddenly the subhumans showed strength. The American president crawled under the table. The American population basically doesn’t care, there priority is to protect their own borders from the migrant hordes. The Ukrainian junta, predictably, can only manage to steal from its own country and issue bombastic statements similar to those once issued by Saddam Hussein’s propaganda minister.
A certain version of the world has collapsed. That is the real cause of the hysteria. That is the real cause of fear.
It will be clear that trying to conquer Russia is a dead end and that it is far more profitable to make a deal
Contrary to the current general mood, I would argue that in the next five years or so, recent events will have a very positive impact on relations between the West and Russia.
Until now, it has been customary to view the Russians as easy prey. And if you are going to subdue and destroy someone, you need to justify to yourself that they deserve it. That you’re actually doing it for the good of humanity, the planet, or both.
In a few weeks, it will be clear that this is not the way to go. It will be clear that trying to conquer Russia is a dead end and that it is far more profitable to make a deal with the regime there. And if the financial interest changes, so will the views.
