You may know that there has never been a major jihadist assassination in the Czech Republic. That’s great, but it doesn’t mean that Muslims aren’t waiting for an opportunity.
The biggest Czech newspaper yesterday reported that in recent months there have been calls to kill Jews in a Prague mosque. This is nothing new.
Many years ago a former member of the mosque, Lukáš Lhot’an, brought out such recordings with clear calls for violence and the seizure of power. We have heard many times from Western European Muslims about the close ties of the Czech Muslim Communities’ Office to the Muslim Brotherhood. It is therefore a franchise under the same headquarters as the Islamic State and Hamas. Then a terrorist cell was uncovered there (the former imam is still in jail) and it turned out that the entire mosque knew about the affair and was covering up for its co-religionists. Meanwhile, the police have documented in detail that the leadership of the Prague mosque is systematically working to radicalize its members. But the case was swept away by the Constitutional Court’s finding that the sections on spreading hatred are in principle inapplicable to Muslims. And so on.
We regularly have a situation where newspaper headlines talk about a terrorist cell in Prague and “experts” on the television screen recite the obligatory mantras about moderate Muslims. Both on the same day. All the while everyone knows it is just a waiting game for mass murder. And that when that horrible thing happens, we’ll just accept that we belong in the West.
