Since there are few positive scenarios for the Czech Republic, I will try to present one. Our advantage may be that we are an economically uninteresting country. Raw materials are at a minimum, there will soon be nothing left to loot and pillage, local manufacturing is collapsing, cheap parts manufacturers are no longer needed by the Germans, the quality of the workforce is declining with an increasingly poor education system, and if there were a few really smart people left, they would move to America.
There is only one use for the Czech Republic left. Cannon fodder for colonial expeditions, or territory from which to launch bombers and fire missiles at Russia (lest perhaps retaliation hit America directly). But if relations are settled, we will be completely useless here too.
So a great situation where others ignore you and let you work in peace, build your own economy, your own schools, etc. Then it’s only a matter of time before there are people who start working on something like that. Or when such people will come from Slovakia or Austria because they will feel that it is easier to build something on our green field.
So a lot of work, but great work. Few things are more fun than building something new.
Unfortunately, there is a negative version of this. Some Arab or Turkish warlord might think that it’s a very suitable territory to set up his own kingdom, and probably a few thousand warriors would be enough.
