The High Court in Prague ruled two days ago that anyone who is not a fan of the rainbow family and who believes that there are only two sexes is an ally of Vladimir Putin and can be publicly defamed accordingly. It’s not clear from the ruling whether those pro-Russian people can be punished in other ways.

This happened in a dispute where a Catholic pro-family organization with absolutely no interest in foreign policy was labeled by government officials as helpers of Vladimir Putin. The Catholics took it to court and lost. The judge said that family values and Vladimir Putin belong together.

Such judgments are being handed down in the Czech Republic after George Soros spent hundreds of millions of dollars to “create a democratic judiciary.”

This is not the excesses of one creepy judicial panel. It is a view widely accepted among members of the ruling group, as best evidenced by their Twitter accounts.

Approximately 80% of the population of the Czech Republic thus falls into the category of “pro-Russian”.

Those who search their memories may recall the relatively recent rhetoric about how Russia is fighting for the traditional family. In my opinion, this is nonsense. Russia is fighting for its own survival and is indifferent to the state of family life in European countries. However, back then, spreading that idea was punishable. Now it is the official position and the opposite is being punished.

This brings us to an interesting feature of the current regime. Whatever statement one makes, one always faces the risk of it being declared incorrect in the future and being punished. It sounds crazy, but the regime’s model adherents can navigate it like a fish in water.
